Couples and family therapy

Non-judgmental, inclusive and highly experienced help

A combination of life events and our growth as human beings over the course of time may challenge the stability and intimacy of relationships.

Couples and families come in all shapes and sizes – it’s love, respect and kindess that makes us tick and stick together. We often provide individual support for people’s mental health and wellbeing alongside helping people together as a couple or family. Themes may be work pressures, financial stress, balancing individuality and connection, mental health issues, gender development, infidelity, bereavement, addiction, blended families and additional caring responsibilities.

By creating quality time for you as a couple or family, you will have a facilitated space to share your thoughts and feelings about what’s happening and what’s important to you. Sessions will give you the space to feel calmer and expand your insights, awareness and clarify how you can work together differently to resolve whatever is happening in your lives. We use a straightforward framework to help understand your shared and individual needs, and how you can best meet them. They will enable you to use your strengths and build on them to help navigate through whatever challenges or issues you are experiencing.

The work is often about improving communication and helping you to resolve differences and disagreements. Our aim is to support you to create a calmer, safer, happier home environment where there is the space for empathy, understanding and clear thinking.
